About The Imagery

In Pre-Medieval Ireland, Celts were known for cleanliness and hairstyles. Both sexes wore their hair elaborately braided and decorated with gold balls, bells, sticks, metal hair ribbons and discs, flexible gold or bronze headbands and combs carved from bone.

Love

This comb is just what I wanted. I have fine hair so a lot of combs fall out. This o e is wonderful, and the design just beautiful.

Really high quality

This comb is stronger and longer than I expected. I thought I might need two to hold my long, thick hair, but one holds it well. It appears to be strong and resiliant (not likely to break).

I couldn’t find my hair sticks, so went looking online at Dicken’s Fair vendors - I recalled wooden hair accessories, but not the vendor. I love Oberon Designs, so stopped in virturally, found the comb, and bought it. It hasn’t left my hair since it arrived - except to shower and sleep. It’s beautiful, sturdy, and super easy to use. I love it!

Love my Celtic hair comb

It's beautiful! The pretty end is like a silver cap on the end of the comb, about 3/8 inch thick, and both sides have the same design. It does weigh more than plain plastic would, but it isn't too heavy for my fine hair.
