United StatesI have this Crane Barrette in both sizes, first the small to wear up higher since my hair is both fine & thin, and more recently the large to wear with all my hair gathered back in a low ponytail. The large persisted in gradually sliding down my silky hair, though, until I thought to wrap a clear polyband type of elastic around my hair first. That did the trick and it has held securely all day which is a relief because I hated having to return such a beautiful hair accessory of a quality matching all the fine products at Oberon Design. I've yet to be disappointed in any of them from my first purchase of a cover for my Kindle Paperwhite years ago. Thanks, Oberon Design!
United StatesThis has been my favorite barrette for some years. A few weeks ago the clip failed but was irreparable. Oberon said they’d like to send me a replacement. Of course I was thrilled. It arrived today and it was like finding an old friend. I own a shoulder bag, a messenger bag, two checkbooks, a journal, a wallet, card holder, three iPad covers and several iPhone covers. But I don’t think that had anything to do with the Crane barrette replacement. I think the Oberon artists are proud of their creations and stand steadfastly behind them. United StatesI love Oberon hair barrette clips. I have been collecting them for about 6 years. The Large crane clip is beautiful . I noticed that the Britannia metal is not as heavy on this clip and that may be due to the design. Very light on the hair. Looks lovely when wearing it on an evening out .
I have several of the barrette's from Oberon and they never disappoint. I have thick hair and these barrette's never slide out and never loose shape. I can put my hair up and wear this all day without worrying it will come out. Thank you!
